Daily activity-Day 19

  1. Set a positive example. If you don`t want the people following you to do something, don`t do it yourself. Only do things you`d expect other people to do as well. You`re a leader, that means others follow your example and if you`re not setting a positive one, then nobody else is going to be very positive, either.
  2. Make good decisions. If you`re going to be a leader, do your job. Don`t do what other people do, and don`t expect them to know what you should do. You should be able to make the decisions for yourself and others.
  3. Prioritize. You should know what needs to be done first and what can be done later. If you don`t, others won`t and then the important things might not get done.
  4. Be a good problem solver. If a problem occurs, somebody needs to be able to know what to do about it. If you can`t solve problems in general, you`re not going to have any better luck with this one and neither is anybody else. They let you lead because they believe you`re the best for the job, and they expect you to be able to solve any problems that might occur.
  5. Be able to set reasonable tasks that can be completed in a reasonable amount of time; in the order you`d want completed. Then help others to complete the tasks by leading and doing what you want done. The people you`re leading are there to HELP you, they can`t do what you want done if they don`t know what to do by example.
