Daily activity-Day 21

Define it in your own words: Uhm...define advertising as it applies to magazines? I don`t know how to do that...or even what that means...to be completely honest. But I guess I could try...sorry if this answer relates nothing to the question. It`s good? It has to be...Advertising as it applies to magazines is appealing, informative and includes pictures.

Give examples of good advertisements: Most bands have people make them good posters and shit, Apple has good advertisements...silhouettes dancing are fantastic. Commercials with good looking food attract people, like Arby`s and Subway.

What facts or characteristics are true of good advertisements: They`re relatable and not boring...if they were boring, no one would pay any attention to them. They also have to say the price, item being advertised and any other important details so people know what it is they might buy, and how much it is.

Give examples of bad advertisements: McDonald`s because they don`t know math. If you have 4 people and they each pay $1, the total is $4...not $1...Also, perfume commercials are bad advertisements because I never understand what the ad is for until the end because it`s hard to use images and videos to advertise something you can`t see.
